Alwyn S. Whitehead Jr. holds a Doctor of Psychology from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology and is a licensed psychologist in the State of Missouri, with more than 26 years of clinical practice. He is the founder of an online therapy practice at doctorwhitehead.com and of forgiveness-centered resources at forgiveness.world.

An ordained minister and long-term member of the recovery community, Dr. Whitehead has maintained 45 years of sobriety. He serves as a teacher and group leader with ACIM St. Louis and has led forgiveness workshops for decades.

A Course in Miracles

Dr. Whitehead has been a student and teacher of A Course in Miracles for more than four decades. His scholarly work includes a comprehensive comparative catalog mapping the Gospel of Matthew to ACIM passages, a study of the Urtext edition, and ongoing work tracing the theological continuity between Paul, the early Church Councils, and the voice of Jesus in the Course.

He treats Jesus as the undisputed author of A Course in Miracles, and his writing approaches the Course not as a departure from Christianity but as its most authentic continuation and correction.

Forgiveness and Recovery
